Access Your Loyola Accounts

Log into important online platforms.

It’s time to set up your digital accounts so you can access vital information to prepare for your arrival. These are the most important platforms you’ll use on a regular basis as a student at Loyola.

  • Log into the Loyola Network through our Single Sign On (SSO) portal
  • Access your LORA account
  • Sign into your LOYNO Gmail account

Follow this step-by-step guide to set up your accounts (we also emailed you with instructions), and contact the IT Help Desk with any technology-related questions.

Once you're logged into your Gmail account, you can change your name by following these instructions.

Complete Your Advising Survey

Work with your advisor to get your fall schedule.

Want to see what's in store for you this fall? Visit your Admissions Status Portal and complete the "Academic Advising and Involvement Interest Survey."

We'll use the information you provide to create a draft schedule of classes for your first semester. Once you complete the survey, a faculty member in the department you've declared as your major will work one-on-one with you to fine-tune your schedule.

You can always schedule a meeting with one of our academic advisors if you have other questions to help you prepare for success at Loyola.

Complete Your Affordability Questionnaire

Student Financial Services is here to help.

We are here to help in every facet of your college experience — including how you pay for it. Our team at Student Financial Services will work one-on-one with your family to determine the best payment options for you.

You can start this process by completing the Affordability Questionnaire in your Admissions Status Portal

Contact Student Financial Services for assistance by phone at 504.865.3337 or by email at

Complete Your Health Requirements

Submit your immunization records and review your health insurance coverage.

You have three health-related action items:

  1. Submit immunization documentation. You can print the Proof of Immunization Compliance Form and have it completed and signed by your physician or treatment provider, then upload your immunization record to your Admissions Status Portal
  2. Submit your COVID-19 vaccination record or exemption request. All students attending in-person classes or spending any amount of time on campus for the 2021 – 2022 academic year are required to get vaccinated or submit an exemption on our COVID-19 Vaccination Portal by July 16, 2021. Learn more on our FAQ page.
  3. Review your required student health insurance plan or waive coverage. You will be automatically enrolled in Loyola’s student health insurance plan, and you must provide proof of comparable, existing insurance coverage for the 2021 – 2022 academic year in order to waive coverage through Loyola. See the details on our Student Insurance page.

If you have questions about any of these action items, please contact Student Health Services at 504.865.3326 with any questions.

Submit Your ID Photo

Upload your headshot for your ID card.

Log into your Admissions Status Portal and upload your headshot in the "Upload Materials" section. Be sure to select "ID Photo" from the dropdown menu. We will use your photo to make your Loyola ID, which you will receive during Wolf Pack Welcome once you arrive in August. Please submit your photo by July 1 for processing.

Photo Criteria

  • Photos should reflect your current appearance—no sunglasses, hats, or head coverings (unless worn for religious purposes)
  • Stand in front of a plain, light colored background and use a neutral face expression with both eyes open
  • Place camera directly in front you: full face and shoulder tops should be visible
  • Clear, color images that are oriented upright only with a high resolution JPEG format (most cell phone cameras can provide this)
  • Photos taken of your driver's license, current school ID, passport or that feature another person in them will not be accepted
