Explore New Orleans Neighborhoods 

Each neighborhood in New Orleans has its own special blend of sights, smells, and sounds that bring it to life. No matter how long you’ve lived here, there’s always more to explore. Take a look at our neighborhood guide for an intro to the nearby neighborhoods surrounding Loyola. From the stunning architecture in the Garden District to the lush greenery Uptown and in Audubon Park—most spots are just a short bike ride or walk away from campus.

Hurricane Evacuation Procedures

Students living off-campus should follow the city's plans when evacuating for a potential hurricane. Loyola’s Emergency website and the NOLA Ready website provide information and resources should the city decide that a mandatory evacuation is in effect. If you have been affected by Hurricane Ida and are in need of support, please review our Ida Resource page.
